Interventional Oncology (Tumor Ablation, Radioembolization, HAIC)

Interventional oncology is now considered the fourth pillar of modern cancer therapy – alongside surgery, systemic therapy, and radiation therapy. We treat tumors directly and precisely: using heat, cold, or locally applied agents, under imaging guidance, through a tiny access point. The spectrum includes percutaneous tumor ablations (radiofrequency, microwave, cryoablation, irreversible electroporation), transarterial radioembolization (TARE/Y-90), and hepatic arterial infusion chemotherapy (HAIC).

Women’s Health (Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Endometriosis, Breast Cancer)

Many gynecological conditions can now be treated without open surgery. Uterine artery embolization shrinks fibroids through targeted catheter-based treatment, endometriosis lesions can be treated with cryoablation, and for carefully selected breast cancer patients, cryoablation offers a gentle alternative to surgical tumor removal – outpatient, without general anesthesia.

Men’s Health (Prostate Artery Embolization, Cryoablation)

Prostate artery embolization (PAE) treats benign prostatic enlargement through minimally invasive vessel occlusion – without general anesthesia and with significantly lower risk of sexual side effects compared to traditional TURP. For localized prostate cancer, focal therapies such as cryoablation offer an organ-preserving alternative to radical prostatectomy.

Pain Management (Joint Embolization, Nerve Ablation, Vertebroplasty)

Chronic joint and back pain can be effectively treated with image-guided procedures. Joint embolization closes inflammation-promoting vessels in arthritic joints, nerve ablations permanently interrupt pain pathways, and vertebroplasties stabilize fractured or painful vertebrae – each performed on an outpatient basis or with a short hospital stay.

Vascular Disease (Arteries, Veins, Aorta)

Narrowed, blocked, or pathologically dilated blood vessels are treated minimally invasively using balloons, stents, and endoprostheses. The spectrum ranges from peripheral arterial disease and venous thrombosis to endovascular repair of aortic aneurysms (EVAR) and endoleak treatment.

Benign Conditions (Thyroid Nodule Thermoablation, Hemorrhoids)

Benign thyroid nodules can be treated with thermoablation (radiofrequency or microwave) – scar-free, without hormone loss, and increasingly preferred over surgery. Hemorrhoids can also be treated minimally invasively through hemorrhoidal artery embolization: outpatient, without surgical intervention, with rapid return to daily life.
